This group of financial advisors, led by a distinguished founder, excels at financial planning for creating wealth for their clients. As a fractional marketing and design team, we collaborated with an in-house designer to elevate brand elements and digital presence.

Challenge: The company’s services and team had developed into divisions, necessitating new brand messaging and design systems for the existing parent brand.

Forefront’s brand needed to level up in visual tools and language in order to create distinction and reach target audiences. Working with the in-house designer of the brand and the client, we redefined the tone of the brand to be more sophisticated and alluring.

The design team came together to explore, discover, and define branding decisions that created a unified and refined yet approachable brand.

The visual design of the website was updated with the new styles, with the language flow pushed towards a user journey experience.

Division Page Template

A template for creating websites for multiple divisions was created and increased production across the web design team greatly.

Design Approach

  • Logo Redesign

    Logo Redesign

    The icon was refined with a slight white stroke to create visual definition. The logotype, previously generic, was pushed to use a font that is cutting edge, mimicking the edges in the icon.

  • Typography

    The existing font palette got an elegant refresh, going from boxy, to thin and impactful. Styles were defined in an approach to be applied for variable use among the new divisions.

  • Visual Tool & Latout Styles

    The brand expansion included defined icon styles, supportive textures, imagery styles, and explored new dynamic layouts.

  • Design System

    Expanding the brand with variable use in mind, we built a design system for digital and print collateral to use across Forefront’s five divisions. Implementation guides allow for designs for any platform and any designer.

Outcome & Reflection

The elevated brand reached new target audiences looking to build and create wealth, and allowed for conversions and increased business for Forefront. Collaborating to grow a brand together through design elements can lead to polished and useful tools for a variety of designs. Together, the design team succeeded in raising brand awareness through a design system that communicated a unified parent brand.
