Design for the logo was inspired by the Call For Artists print marketing layout. Images for the logo are selected artworks in the ‘22 show. The different combinations are grouped together by similar color tones. Careful cropping intensified the design and made the differing works congruent. Variations exist to show off the diversity of the bodies of work in marketing campaigns.
Print Assets
The project called for multiple printed materials to publicize the showcase. A postcard was designed with simplicity and consistency in mind, utilizing the layout previously seen from the gallery. The logo is versatile and applied to the assets with ease. The news advertisement successfully applies text to the lock-up.
Event Design
A brochure needed to be designed as a guide for visitors of the People’s Gallery. InDesign provided necessary tools for bringing it all together. A vertical lock-up was designed to further versatility.
Two boards were designed for welcoming and informing the guests at the exhibit. The logo lock-ups are variable but consistent, working well in the same setting.
Email Correspondence
Communications with participating artists proved to be a big hurdle for this project. In the application phase, over 400 individuals needed to be emailed about the status of their work in the show. Knowledge of Excel and experience with MailChimp allowed for this on-going task to be managed and designed in a professional and clear manner.

reflection
Handling all of the moving parts of the gallery was a challenge; however, being able to represent talented artists and their work in the best way possible was great motivation and reward. The exhibit was awe-inspiring and I am so proud to have been a part of it.
